About Me

My photo
I love spending a lot of time with myself and to me, the best places to hang around with friends are coffee-shops. yes, am addicted to chai and coffee. Four things I can't do without- Dreams, Hopes, a sound sleep nd positivity around ! :)offcourse, they can't replace family and friends :) Despite all the good the world seems to offer, true happiness can only be found in one thing - Shopping!

what next after Diwali? Christmas? No, it's exam time ;)

Hope all of you had an amazing diwali : )

We didn’t celebrate diwali but we made rangoli and did puja. I made rangoli using coloured saw dust, stones and diyas : ) Little things like this make me happy.

Time really runs when we’re with the loved ones. Its already time to get back to college, finish assignments and sit for end semester exams. Not a very great feeling. Exams should never be right after the festive season. Do I have an option? Absolutely not. By the way, Is it just me or most of you feel sleepy during exam days?

Those who’re suffering from diwali ke side-effects which over-eating causes : ) Get well soon and by the time, I will prepare myself for exams ke side-effects : )

All you people have to do is pray for me that whatever I skip doesn't come in exams : )

All the Best to all those who have exams knocking on the door : ) To be on the top, you don't have to be a bookworm. Just study smart : ) My Best Wishes are with you !

Let's spread happiness this Diwali !

More festivals than the number of months : ) It happens only in India. Everyday is a celebration for Indians : ) Such wonderful people we are : ) Just 8 days to go for diwali : ) I have always loved diwali and the weather around October-November. Makes me feel very happy. Can’t wait to finish classes, pack my bags and go home : ) I love lighting diyas and candles. Absolutely love the way everything is brightened on diwali : ) the neighbourhood, infact the whole city sparkles. Not very fond of sweets but yeah, who can resist chocolate mousse and anything that has lots of melted chocolate over it. There’s so much you can do on diwali – sabse important is spread happiness. You can make rangoli, decorate the pooja thaali and what not. I love floating candles. Get creative this Diwali! Yeah, there’s one thing I want to do this diwali – put mehendi : ) Festivals are the best times to let your loved ones know how much you love them, not just by words but by gifts too – iss diwali aap kisse khush karenge : ) make your family know you love them. Cleanliness is Godliness. Clean you room and see what books and stationary you don’t need and donate them to those kids who can’t afford it but love studying : ) you don’t play with your toys anymore, give them to those don’t have a luxurious childhood as you have had :)

This is something very touching I came across. Do read it !

Rishton mein hai ghulli mithaas
Phuljhadiyaan hain dil mein aaj
Khushbhu khushiyan ki aur chali hai
Zidd karke bas peeche padi hai
Pata tumhari pooch rahi hain
Iss diwali khushiyan tumko dhoond rahi hain : )

Have a happy and a safe diwali everyone : ) May this Diwali be the best ever.

One last thing – you haven’t had a good day : ) make someone smile, you’ll feel better and then do it everyday : )
